The short version

f/64 does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own.

Photos

Photos you capture are saved directly to your device's photo library and never leave your device through f/64. The app requests add-only access to your photo library solely to save your shots.

Camera and microphone

Camera access is required to take photographs. f/64 does not record audio and does not request microphone access.

Location

If you enable the optional Geotag setting, your current location is embedded into the metadata of the photo files you capture, exactly as system cameras do. Location is used for nothing else, and the setting is off by default.

Tips

Voluntary tips are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system. f/64 receives no personal or payment information about you.

Diagnostics

A technical log used for debugging is written locally inside the app's own storage on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere and you can delete it at any time by deleting the app.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address.
